The International Darts Open is the traditional PDC Europe event in the new federal states. This is the ninth time that a European Tour event has been held in the WT Energiesysteme Arena (formerly known as SACHSENarena).

At the last event in 2023, the “Iceman” Gerwyn Price once again came out on top and took the crown for the fourth time in Saxony.
