The BetMGM Premier League is about to start and offers to see eight of the sport’s biggest names contesting 16 mini-events during the season – with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and final over the best of 11 legs – ahead of the Play-Offs at the end of May.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the schedule was released, the pairings for Premier League Night in Berlin were also announced. <\/span>The major event in the Uber Arena will be opened by Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting. <\/span>There will also be a clash between the world number one, Luke Humphries, and the 2018 world champion, Rob Cross.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afterwards, the current world champion Luke Littler will face World Cup semi-finalist Chris Dobey. <\/span>The quarterfinals will be followed by the battle between former world champions Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price. <\/span>After the quarterfinals, the winners will play each other in semi-finals before the winner of the Premier League event in Berlin is determined in the final.<\/span><\/p>\n

The PDC has announced the quarter-final fixtures for 14 of the 16 league nights with fixtures for Night Eight and Night 16 set to be determined by league standings heading into each night. <\/span>All matches will be played over the best of 11 legs, with a \u00a310,000 bonus on offer to every <\/span>nightly winner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ranking points will also be awarded per night – with five to the winner, three to the runner-up and two to the semi-finalists – to form the league table from which the top four players will progress to the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on Thursday May 29.<\/span><\/p>\n
