Michael van Gerwen won the Players Championship Finals

Michael van Gerwen has won the Players Championship Finals for the fifth time since 2013. In the final “Mighty Mike” won 11:9 against the Grand Slam of Darts Champion Gerwyn Price.

Van Gerwen was in front from the beginning up to a 6:4 lead. The “Iceman” won three Legs in a row and was about to turn the match around. But the “Green Machine” found its way back into the match and won the last tournament before the World Cup. Third place is shared by Chris Dobey and Ian White.
