Due to the ongoing restrictions the Ostsee Darts Gala which was planned for February 25 will be postponed to September 09, 2022.
All tickets purchased will remain valid for the new date and do not need to be exchanged.
Staging the event in February would only have been possible under severe restrictions, including spectators having to wear a mask throughout the event.
“We very much hope that this postponement will be the last one we have to make in connection with Corona. On February 25 we could have hosted with a relatively high capacity but don’t want to make our fans wear a mask for over four hours,” said PDC Europe Chairman Werner von Moltke.
“Our events thrive on the atmosphere and the good mood among the fans and the obligation to wear a mask would have affected the quality of the event considerably. We firmly believe that in September we will be able to stage the Gala under much better conditions and are looking forward to the third edition of this fantastic event.”
All ticket holders will also be informed via email by PDC Europe and have the possibility to get a refund.
