Second time lucky! – Nentjes wins back his Tour Card

Geert Nentjes jubelt lächelnd mit geballten Fäusten

After falling at the last hurdle yesterday Geert Nentjes has won back his Tour Card on day 2 of the final stage of 2021 European Q School.

The 22-year old Dutchman who narrowly missed out on day 1, losing to Geert de Vos, defeated Russian Boris Koltsov in today`s final by 6:5.

Nentjes knocked out 5-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld in the semis with “Barney” now in a good position to secure his Tour Card via the Order of Merit.

Two more Tour Cards will be awarded to the winners of day 3 and 4 while eight Tour Cards will go to the top 8 players of the OOM.
