Viagogo spreads misinformation

August 7, 2020 ,

The intermediary for tickets “Viagogo” has sent an e-mail to its customers on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, wishing them a good time at the European Darts Open in Leverkusen this weekend. This event has already been officially postponed to 2021 by PDC Europe on May 29, 2020.

PDC Europe wants to make it clear that Viagogo is not an official partner. On the contrary, Viagogo has already been taken to court several times, as this provider has repeatedly caused great trouble in the darts community. Tickets there are offered at vehemently inflated prices.

PDC Europe strongly recommends to order tickets for their events only through the official ticket shop of PDC Europe and to inform yourself about current news on the official channels of PDC / PDC Europe.
