Michael van Gerwen has come one step closer to successfully defending his title. After his victory over Darius Labanauskas, “Mighty Mike” is now facing Nathan Aspinall, who matched last year’s debut run to the last four. “The Asp”, who won the duel against Dimitri Van den Bergh, is now already ranked 8th in the standings.

The second semi-final is contested by Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price, who both showed strong performances in their successes. Peter Wright is now in the semi-finals for the third time after 2017 and could enter the final again after 2014. Gerwyn Price is among the last 4 at a World Cup for the first time and is ready for the big throw.
