William Hill World Darts Championship, Day Four

The day of the Irish at the William Hill World Darts Championship, in each game a player from the green island was involved. But the proverbial luck of the Irish was not so good for them, only William O’Connor could prevail against Marko Kantele.

While Steve Lennon still had match darts against Callan Rydz, Keane Barry and Brendan Dolan lost. At 17, Barry is the third youngest participant of all time at the World Championship and he showed a good performance against Vincent van der Voort.

Dolan was not able to follow up the performances of the match the day before against Nitin Kumar and only won a Leg against Gary Anderson. Anderson didn’t play at the highest level and was happy that he didn’t have to join the ranks of the failed seeds.
