William Hill World Darts Championship, Tag 15

December 30, 2019 ,

The opponents for the showdown of the William Hill World Darts Championship 2020 have been determined. Michael van Gerwen meets Peter Wright, both players won their semi-final 6:3.

It is the remake of the 2014 final, where MvG won 7-4 and won his first of three titles. Now he has the chance to become “back-to-back champion” for the first time, something only Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, and Gary Anderson have done before. For Peter Wright it is the second chance for the biggest title in darts.

Semi-Finals
Peter Wright 6-3 Gerwyn Price
Michael van Gerwen 6-3 Nathan Aspinall

Final
Michael van Gerwen v Peter Wright
