The HYLO PDC Europe Next Gen is more than just a tournament system for young talent – it’s the exciting future of darts in the German-speaking world! Here, sporting challenges meet professional conditions, offering every player the chance to prove themselves. The Next Gen is a direct route to the Super League and, with it, your chance to qualify for the World Darts Championship at the legendary Ally Pally.
The 2026 season kicks off at the end of January with 16 tournaments. The new preliminary round is modelled on the group stage of the Champions League. It not only revolutionises the tournament formats but also allows for a maximum of up to 384 participants. Alongside the existing game modes – DIDO, FA Cup and Master Out – you can look forward to further challenges with the new ‘170’ fast-fire mode. A separate youth ranking continues to nurture the next generation of darts stars.
Selected matches from the knockout rounds, as well as all finals, will be streamed on Sport1, HYLOSports and the PDC Europe YouTube channel.
All players who are at least 16 years old, do not hold a PDC Tour Card and are citizens of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg or Liechtenstein are eligible to take part.

All Season Pass holders are guaranteed a starting place, provided they register at least three weeks before the relevant weekend. After that, any remaining starting places for the respective tournaments will be made available for open registration. There will be a separate registration period for the first weekend. Open registration for each Next Gen tournament begins 3 weeks before the respective tournament weekend. Season Pass holders can register throughout the season. Registration closes on the Wednesday before the tournament weekend. The following day, all participants will receive a Players’ Brief by email. This contains all the important information about the tournament.
