In 2026, Prague once again becomes a meeting point for the world’s darts elite as the ČEZ Czech Darts Open return to the PVA EXPO from September 4 to 6. Few players have shaped the tournament in the Czech capital quite like Luke Humphries. “Cool Hand” lifted the trophy in 2022 and 2024 before completing a hat-trick of titles last year with an 8-5 victory over Josh Rock in the final. Since the tournament’s inaugural edition in 2019, when Jamie Hughes claimed the first title, Prague has firmly established itself as a regular stop on the European Tour. The big question now is: can Humphries continue his remarkable run, or will a new champion be crowned in Prague in 2026?

The top-ranked players in the PDC Order of Merit will enter the tournament in the second round, while the remaining players will compete in the first round.
Prize money
In 2026, the prize money for European Tour events was significantly increased. A total of £230,000 will be distributed as follows:
- Winner: £ 35,000
- Runner-up: £ 15,000
- Semi-finalists: £ 10,000
- Quarter-finalists: £ 8,000
- Round of 16: £ 5,000
- Second round: £ 3,500
- First round: £ 2,000
The prize money counts towards the PDC Order of Merit, the ProTour Order of Merit and the European Tour Order of Merit (qualification for the European Championship).
