Darts fans in Germany and across Europe can also look forward to a year full of top-class events, big names, and electrifying atmosphere in 2026.
European Tour 2026: More countries, more reach, darts
The European Tour, which has developed in recent years into one of the most important platforms in the global darts calendar, will take another step across borders in 2026. With Bratislava in Slovakia and Krakow in Poland, two new locations in Central and Eastern Europe will be added to the tour calendar. This not only makes the tour more international – it also brings it closer to fans who have so far not experienced tournaments on their doorstep.
The further internationalization of the European Tour is one of our biggest goals – darts is growing rapidly, and we see enormous demand outside the previous core regions. The new venues are a strong signal of the relevance and attractiveness of the European Tour – both in sporting and cultural terms,” says Werner von Moltke, President of PDC Europe.
With more than a dozen tournaments per season, the European Tour has long been regarded as a springboard for new stars and the home of unforgettable darts moments. Time and again, rising talents provide surprises here, while the top stars of the scene prove in front of thousands of fans why they belong to the world elite.
The heart of the European darts summer
The tournaments are held in modern arenas, each with several thousand spectators. For the coming season, PDC Europe again expects around 20,000 fans per event. Spectators can look forward to a unique mix of world-class sport, show, and emotions. Nowhere else can they experience the biggest names in darts – from the reigning world champion to the most popular crowd favorites – so close.
Particularly in focus again in 2026 is the European Championship in Dortmund, which forms the grand finale of the tour. There, the best 32 players of the season compete to crown the European Champion – an absolute highlight in the darts calendar.
A year full of highlights ahead
Whether it’s thrilling competition on stage or goosebump moments during the walk-ons – the European Tour delivers spectacular images and an atmosphere like no other year after year. The steadily growing audience numbers, live broadcasts in numerous countries, and the increasing presence on social media impressively demonstrate how strongly darts continues to grow in Europe.
The European Tour is not only sport at the highest level – it is also a festival for the fans. Every tournament is an experience that brings people together and shows the power this sport can unleash,” von Moltke continues.
PDC Europe looks forward to continuing this journey together with the fans – in Germany, Slovakia, Poland, and all across Europe.
