Important information for 2022 European Q School participants

December 23, 2021 ,

As PDC Europe and PDC stated when the 2022 Qualifying Schools were announced only players who are fully vaccinated are allowed to take part in the European Q School in Niedernhausen (Germany). That means that their second vaccination has to be at least 15 days past at the time of the start of the event.

Recovered persons who can present a corresponding certificate are also eligible to play.

It is also important to note that only the following vaccines are being recognised in Germany: AstraZeneca, Biontech-Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna. Players who have not been fully vaccinated (one shot of Johnson & Johnson is sufficient) with one of these vaccines are not allowed to participate in the European Q School in Niedernhausen.

This procedure is in line with the current regulations implemented by the German government which PDC and PDC Europe have to obey to.

All players who have already registered for the European Q School but are unable to attend due to the above-mentioned circumstances have the opportunity to have their entry fee refunded.

The European and UK Q School will take place from January 09 – 15, 2022 in Niedernhausen, Germany and Milton Keynes, England respectively.

Registrations can be made via the PDC Entry System. Players who take part in a PDC event for the first time have to register in the system HERE first. Closing date for registrations is January 05, 2022 at 1400 GMT.

All participants of the European Q School have to stay at the H+ Hotel in Niedernhausen for the duration of their participation.

The event will be played in a bubble, which means that players must present an up-to-date negative certified Corona test upon arrival and will not be allowed to leave the hotel until they have been eliminated or the event has ended.

Hotel bookings will only be accepted via hotel@pdc-europe.tv and must be made no later than January 05, 2022 1400 GMT.
