Switzerland crowns a new champion! Stephen Bunting wins the Swiss Darts Trophy. With an 8–3 victory in the final against Luke Woodhouse, the Englishman secures his second European Tour title of the season. He becomes only the third player this year to win more than one event.
A spectacular final in St. Jakobshalle
Around 3,500 fans celebrated the finalists in Basel’s St. Jakobshalle. The final turned into a high-quality showdown. For the first five legs, both players went toe-to-toe. Eventually, Stephen Bunting pulled away, taking three legs in a row to lay the foundation for his triumph.
