Qualifying School
The Qualifying School (Q-School) is the traditional start of the PDC tournament year. At the end of each year, a certain number of players lose their Tour Card, i.e. their entitlement to take part in the PDC’s professional tournaments.
At the Q School, all players without a Tour Card have the opportunity to earn one of the Tour Cards that have become available. The Q Schools are divided into UK and EU and the Tour Cards are awarded to the UK and Europe on a pro rata basis according to the number of participants. The Tour Cards are (usually) valid for two years.
