Race for Cazoo European Championship continues next month

August 4, 2022 ,

The race to qualify for the 2022 Cazoo European Championship continues next month, with just four European Tour events remaining before the qualification cut-off.

The PDC European Tour resumes from September 2-4, as the Hungarian Darts Trophy (ET10) takes place at the BOK Sportcsarnok, Budapest, with the sport’s biggest names battling it out for £140,000 in prize money.

This is followed by the Interwetten German Darts Open (ET11) at the Sparkassen-Arena, Jena from September 9-11, with the Belgian Darts Open (ET12) set to be held at the Oktoberhallen, Wieze from September 23-25.

This year’s European Tour action concludes with the Gibraltar Darts Trophy (ET13) from October 14-16, after which the 32-player field for the 2022 European Championship will be confirmed.

The Associate Member Qualifiers for the Belgian Darts Open (ET12) and Gibraltar Darts Trophy (ET13) will be held on August 27 and 28 in Hildesheim.

These events will run alongside the PDC Women’s Series events in Hildesheim, with two Associate Members qualifying for each respective event.

Entries are now available via the PDC Entry System.

The top 32 players from the final European Tour Order of Merit will qualify for the Cazoo European Championship, which takes place at the Westfalenhalle, Dortmund from October 27-30.

The tables below show the latest standings in the race to the Cazoo European Championship, displaying each player’s minimum prize money following the conclusion of ET13.

NB: Players competing in the remaining European Tour events who are not listed below can still qualify via the European Tour Order of Merit.

Qualifying players will compete across four days in Dortmund, with two-time winner Rob Cross bidding to defend his title in the £500,000 tournament.

The tournament will be broadcast live on ITV4 in the UK, through the PDC’s worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding UK, Germany, Austria & Switzerland based subscribers)
