HYLO PDC Europe Super League 2025: Complete Lineup Announced in Hildesheim

An exciting weekend in Hildesheim brought the decision: the lineup for the HYLO PDC Europe Super League 2025 is complete. Through the PDC Europe Next Gen season, 24 players secured their starting places – now fighting in November for the big goal: a ticket to the World Championship at Alexandra Palace.

Merk prevents Steinmetz sensation

Particularly impressive in Hildesheim was Arno Merk, who turned things around after a weak season start. After his Saturday victory, the man from Lower Saxony immediately followed up on Sunday, winning the final event – defeating Finn Prokop, Julian Beil, Luca Wolff, Daniel Klose, and Christian Schmidt along the way. In the final, he stopped surprise finalist Sebastian Steinmetz, who would have qualified for the Super League with a win.

Drama for the last spots

The race for the last qualification spots was also close. Steven Noster reached a semifinal to secure his place, while Christian Schmidt showed strong nerves in a decisive comeback against Michael Hurtz, pushing Swiss Marcel Walpen out of the Top 20 – ensuring that in 2025 only German players will compete in the Super League.

A disappointment came for Rowby-John Rodriguez as well. The Austrian, World Cup finalist of 2024, failed to collect enough points and missed qualification. Jannis Barkhausen, Jan Dückers, Marcel Hausotter, and Patrick Tringler also fell short.

Four debutants via youth ranking

Through the youth ranking, Jan Schmidt, Finn Chudziak, Lenny Schlüter, and Felix Springer secured their places – and will celebrate their Super League debut in November. For them, this means not only the big stage in Hildesheim but also the chance to qualify directly for the World Championship.

The big goal: Ally Pally

The HYLO PDC Europe Super League takes place from November 4–7, 2025, in Halle 39, Hildesheim. Whoever triumphs here fulfills the dream of participating on darts’ biggest stage: Alexandra Palace in London.

Fans can experience the tournament live on site – and witness every dart deciding the path to the World Championship.
